Manhattan Experts with Facial Pain Injections, performed by Matthew Spiegel, MD

Injections for facial pain are a treatment option aimed at reducing pain in the face, jaw, or head. Facial pain injections are often used to treat conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux), temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, or other facial pain conditions. They may also be used to relieve pain associated with dental procedures. The type of injection used depends on the source and location of the pain, but may include: ophthalmic (V1), maxillary (V2) or mandibular (V3) nerve blocks, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, or Botox.
